To all Acoustic Alchemy Fans and Friends:Now is the time to book your 2009 Smooth Music Cruise! Acoustic Alchemy will be headlining on the ship and taking part in the incredible Jam Sessions that are part of what makes this cruise so special. While you've likely seen the guys in concert, you do not want to miss the opportunity to see them let loose in the jam sessions where anything can and does happen. Grammy winning guitarist Norman Brown will once again be hosting the Cruise along with Nick Colionne hosting the nightly jam sessions. Joining us on the ship will be the amazing Boney James, and by popular demand the incredible Larry Carlton. Also joining us in 2009 will be two ladies who are superstars, as well - the vivacious Mindi Abair (anyone who was on the first cruise in 2005 will tell you this girl can really jam!) and Soul Train award winning, Grammy nominated singer Heather Headley. Rounding out the talented musical cast will be cruise favorites Marion Meadows, Shilts (from Down to the Bone), Chieli Minucci, Steve Oliver and Michael Lington. New Ship, New Ports! The 2009 Cruise will be on the luxury Celebrity Cruises' "Century", and will be a full ship charter. We set sail from Miami on January 31 and return on February 5, with visits to Key West, the private island of Coco Cay and the Bahamas.
In between ports it's going to be non-stop music and fun. With the whole ship at our command, there are going to be jam sessions, autograph and interview sessions and shows all over the place!!! There are many cabin levels for you to choose from with lots and lots of balcony cabins and suites if that's your cup of tea...but whatever cabin you choose you can bet you're going to be spending most of your time just plain having a great time!
